I just received the card today and we got a problem, the top right hand side of the card have a big dinge on it. You mentioned that the card is super mint but obviously is a damaged. I have attached a picture to show you what I mean. I hope it is clear.

I must confess that I'm a bit confused with that story...
The card my friend sent you was absolutely mint!

He sent it in a screwdown, so that the card could not get any damage!
But, on the pic you sent me, the screwdown has been changed, it's not the one in which the card has been sent...
So I guess the card has been taken out of its screwdown...

I'm really sorry, but my friend tell me that's he won't refund anything, as the card has been sent in a perfect shape. I do still have the pics of before shipping.

Ok guys, this is what i received in the mail.

I was fine with the fact that it was not sent in a magnetic case like what la iph said in our conversation

The dinge is not obvious until you do a close up

At this point, I am annoyed as it is with such a dinge especially when he mentioned that it was super mint.

The final straw is that he goes on accusing me of taking it out from the case and accused of me "deliberately" damaging my cards. I was silly enough not to video the whole thing as I trusted la iph's reputation

I really feel for Tiphaine as he is in the middle of this whole saga between his friend and me but the fact that if you are using your reputation to sell cards on OCT, you jolly well be responsible for the cards whether it is yours or your friends.

Judge for yourselves guys. This is the kind of things which make people give up the hobby.

unfortunately mate, i would say your hands are tied into leaving neg feedback. la iph ran the risk by selling a friends cards, and as you said, it isnt a 20$ card which you can just write off to bad luck, its 10x that, and you asked multiple about the condition!!! Spewing about the no refund/accusations of tampering with it too!!

The card was sent like that with that exact case taken in the photo. I have yet to take the card out from the case. The original photo is sort of blur due to poor resolution but you can already see a bit of dent.

you can certainly see a bit of a dint on the original picture with it in the magnetic holder and to call it super mint is a joke

A minor printing blemish is acceptable. Slight wax staining is acceptable on the back of the card only. Most of the original gloss is retained. Centering must be approximately 70/30 to 75/25 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

Normlly, a card under this condition would be about 75% of the mint value. Am I close?

However I do think that she should not be allowed to sell any more cards for her friends and that if they wish to sell then they can become members so they can wear any negative feeedback

Thanks for the gesture. I personally think that tiphaine a top bloke or gal. But he is being blind sided by a good friend of his. I have already reminded him again to talk some sense to his friend rather than just putting the blame on me. I really hope that a positive outcome can be produced between himself and his friend, and am awaiting a result. The purpose of a negative feedback is to protect other members from making similar mistakes. I don't want him to sell his friend's card on OCT if his friend doesn't want to be upfront honest with the condition of the card.

Sounds like a fair deal on the part of Adam's deal. I just bought a shadowbox D Rob too DAMN haha.

All jokes aside agree with most of here that Tip shouldnt sell cards for her friends. Anyone is welcome to join our great site. Tip has always been good and pleasant with myself so now doubt she is a decent member/contributor to this site.

Will say this though them damn screwdowns are notorious for causing damage, I will only use magnetics. ULTRA PRO magnetics haha

Amen to that. Neg feedback will be misleading to new members on the site, was they might think Tiphanie is a bad member, even though it wasn't her card.

Trust me, I am very reluctant to give tiphaine a negative as well and will not make a harsh decision. I will give it till this weekend and really hope she sorts it out with friend by then.
