SEASON 2:
So I was busy studying for my final exams yesterday, when I thought I'd come up with a super audacious idea. Which could end up costing me a lot of $$ but ah well, Mr. Randolph can move on. Just kidding, but my super-sweet idea was to start a PC of a young up-and-comers whether they be warming the bench, sent down to D-league or the next-in-line for the starting job!
Just to make it cooler, and similar to a real squad I thought I'd pick 1 player at each position and add in a 6th man ie. Mr Versatile, a benchwarmer as well ie. Sleeper and now a Veteran. Wasn't looking for the young ones who'd already taken off (looking at you Monroe, George, Cousins) as I'd have enough troubling collecting 1 of you, let alone 8! Rather I've picked out a bunch of possible up-and-comers who it would be exciting to see get better, more minutes and hopefully, finally a starting spot!
Only really looking for rookie year, low-numbered, less than /25 variations or inserts but any Autos, Patches, a combination or Auto-Jerseys!
Anyway enough talking here's who I'm after:
PG - Marquis Teague
Profile:
Replacing DRose, has shown poor decision making and problems shooting the ball but was fantastic in preseason, as quick as anyone and has the ability to drive and dish or finish at the rim. Thibs has no choice but to give Teague 20-25 mpg every night until Rose is back.
Cards: 52
SG - Jeremy Lamb
Profile:
Is he ready to replace Harden? OKC needs a bench scorer, silky smooth stroke, long arms and committed both offensively and defensively. Good 3pt shooter and slasher, stuck in D-League last year but no one is sleeping on him this year.
Cards: 0
SF - Perry Jones III
Profile:
Cards: 0
PF - Jared Sullinger
Profile:
Cards: 3
C - John Henson
Profile:
Was efficient last season when given time, dominated preseason and made the other big men look like boys, massive wingspan and soft touch but problem is slim frame. Has a chance with Sanders out right now but the Bucks front court continues to be unnecessarily crowded. Should project to be Anthony Davis-lite.
Cards: 55
6th Man - Moe Harkless
Profile:
Cards: 51 (+1)
Benchwarmer - John Jenkins
Profile:
Cards: 0
Veteran - Eric Bledsoe
Profile:
Cards: 10
Season 1: Bledsoe, Beal, Harkless, Henson, Drummond, Evan Turner, Stephenson, Wall
SEASON 1 REVIEW COMING SOON!
Cheers and thanks in advance for any help. It'll be cool to track how these players do through the season
