Surely Kidd can't leave Dallas hanging like that???

I hope Nash does'nt go to the Raptors, if they got Fields also, Raps may compete for the playoffs, but if Nash went to Lakers or Knicks, he'll be going to at least the 2nd round surely. (Yes Knick fans, get excited:))

Knicks will be in the second round with or without Nash.

There is not much they could do with meeting the Heat in the first round. There are a few teams getting weaker in the East, I'm gonna say Knicks finish 5th in the East.

They could've finished higher than 7th might've helped;)

I'm only jokin with ya mate.

They should be ALOT better this season. Maybe even 4th. Depends if Indy can back it up and see what the Bulls can do without Rose.

Sheesh, that's some serious coin for Gordon. NO have to match it really. Unless they have their eye on a top pick next season.

NOH have said for awhile that Gordon is required, and I think they expected all along to have to pay max for Gordon, so he will definitely be matched. Of course Gordon has to say that he wants to play with the Suns, or whoever he was gonna sign his offer sheet with, but he also knows that Hornets will match it. If he absolutely wanted to get out of NO, then he would have had to sign a 1 year deal this offseason so that he could become an Unrestricted FA next offseason.

And as for Brooklyn Nets, if they can pull off the Howard trade they become instant contenders, same as Miami Heat did two seasons back. They can fill out their roster with low paid veterans, undrafted rookies and other minumum salary type players who are interested in coming to a contender with championship aspirations (Jason Kidd anyone?) Their owner has already said he is OK with paying luxury tax as long as team is successful, and I cant help but think a team of DWill, JKidd, JJ, Crash and Howard will be ultra successful. They all play different roles and different positions (other than Kidd and DWill of course, but running JKidd at SG would be so entertaining) so there is no overlap of skills like there is in Miami with Lebron and Wade, so I dont think the time to mesh will be as long, as roles will be more clearly defined. I have always had a bit of a soft spot for the Nets, ever since the Kenny Anderson/Derrick Coleman/Drazen Petrovic trio, so I would be happy to see a Nets vs Pacers conference final next year (just dreamin).

Has'nt been much said on here about J. Terry signing with the C's.

I think that's a great move by them. Boston will still be tough to beat next season also.

Ray would fit nicely with the Clips IMO. They would then have improved ALOT.

I really don't see Allen signing on with MIA, sure they can do it, but I don't see him filling a role player role. He's a starter.

I seriously hope to read tomorrow morning that the Mavs have agreed a deal with someone. Unsure what our rook's will give us, but at this stage, it's hard to stay positive. Last year we let Chandler walk, and he wins DPOY, we let JJ walk and well, the Wolves got better, and we acquired a guy who had his wife's blouse and panties on all season and just sulked and didnt want to play!

THIS season, we managed to lock up 3 picks for 1, hopefully they'll do some good, but we're letting go 6th Man, and Mr Clutch Terry, we lucked out on D-Will and most likely Howard, as well as seeing JKidd umm & arr about where he wants to be, as well as leaving it too late to almost lock up someone decent from the FA list....

I think that it is an acknowledgement by Celtics that Ray Allen ain't comin back. I like the combo of Terry and Avery Bradley at SG, gives good offense and good defence, depending on who is on court of course.

Sounds like Clippers are mainly after Jamal Crawford, so Ray Allen may not be headed to Clippers. I still think he will sign with Miami for less money purely because he wants to win another ring and he sees Heat as his best chance. He may be better off waiting for another day or two, to see how Dwight Howard situation pans out, as Nets may be a better option for him...imagine starting lineup of DWill, Allen, JJ, Crash and Howard.

man so much money been thrown at the elders this year...lol Can someone please explain to me why everyone is wanting to follow Dwill? I like Deron but he is lucky to be in the top 3 PG in the league imo.

Who are the elders that are getting thrown money??? Just wondering that's all.

D. Will is a flat out gun and deserves to be right up there with the best pgs. Easily.

To me Chris Paul is the stand out of them all, if I was Dwight I'd actually be trying to play with him.

personally i put CP3 and Rose above him and for flat game play and brains Nash isnt far behind DWill either.

The elders to me KG, Rayray, Nash all 35ish and still decent players but would be getting big $$$ still u

Deron Williams is 50 times better at the point the D Rose in my opinion.
well to me if u look at it in black and white they both play PG so the question is which 1 would u pick straight up as a player? Dwill is more of a standard PG where as Rose is more of the score first type guy. I also forgot about Rondo for me he's well ahead of Dwill too. This isnt a knock on Dwill i've always liked the guys game just not right at the top for me like some people r saying.
