Concerned about my new Jordan

So I just recently won an auction for a 1998-99 Michael Jordan Ovation Game Used Ball /90. Pictures are below. But I'm concerned about the price I got it for. Based on the pictures the seller posted the card seems to be in good condition but I checked my August 2011 Beckett (yes I know its old) to get a round about price of what it's worth after I won the auction and now I'm worried. The high price is $1500 and the low price is $750. I didn't pay close to half of $750. So I'm wondering if I got a good deal or if there is something wrong with the card. Please let me know what you think.

Maybe you got a bargain.
I've noticed with my cards, if one that is listed and going really high at the same time. Collectors seem to ignore others. And you can pick up a few bargains at that time.
Very nice card.

The fact that the numbering is only to 90 explains why it books so high. Nice looking card! One similar to that sold for around the same price but it wasn't mint. I'd say you gor a good deal!

Thanks for the replies.
hairyangryfella I'm looking at the right thing, I looked up the price after I won it and was shocked, but why doesn't book value matter?
ozballer23 one sold for $750-1500?

I'm confused now about book values. Do you go by the high or low price or do you not bother with them at all and just look at the market.

Thanks
Kevin

No one sold for around the same price you bought yours. Seems like the going rate! 90s MJ numbered cards sell for a nice premium!

Really frustrated right now. So the card auction ended 6 days ago, and I haven't paid for the item yet and was going to tomorrow. But when I checked ebay right to see if I had any new messages there was a case opened because the seller was canceling the transaction. I declined and told them I am sending the payment first thing tomorrow, and that I am sorry to have taken so long to pay. Well I got a response from the seller stating that they are not going to sell me the card because bidders complained that they couldn't bid within the last three hours of the auction. I'm trying to see if I can work something out with the seller but right now I am so frustrated. Any advice?

Yeah but i got it for $265 the last one I seen sold for $600.
I said: but what if I would have paid for the item before the case was opened would you have sold it then?
This is their response:
No, I would not have sold it. I had filed an issue with eBay on this and they have a case open. I am pissed as well as the card sold for way below what it should have gone for. I had a ton of offers after the auction because the sale was so low. To have this end this way due to a eBay technical error is bs.

Same exact issue I had with the game jersey I had listed. For some reason, no one could make bids in the last 3hrs of both auctions.

Now I put a bid in with less then 3 hrs though, and when I checked in the morning I was shocked and excited because 1) I won the auction 2) I got it for cheap. But now because apparently ebay messed up I'm out the card.

True so should I still click the pay now button and pay the $265 or where do I go from here. Thanks for all the help.

I messaged the seller about 20 minutes ago and after messaging me almost immediately each time he now isn't responding to me. I think they are just trying to get more money because I asked:
if no body was able to bid within 3 hours of the auction how was I able to then.

just just on to ebay tech online support and speak to an online person straight away and they will tell you if there is a leg to spand on bud

I think what I am going to do is pay for the item and when ebay opens a new case I'll tell them what happened. Because as far as I know I won the auction, i owe $265, and I bid within the last 3 hours that the seller is complaining no body else was able to bid, therefore the card is mine and he has to keep his end of the bargain and send me the card.

I've got a few things to say.

Firstly, did you bother to contact the seller and tell him why you weren't paying promptly?
Secondly, by paying now you risk him sending you 'nothing' and trying to screw you over (eg GF4L)
Thirdly, I personally don't think that's a 'great price' for that card. Regardless of what the last one "sold for" - ebay auctions are EASILY manipulated and you can't trust all completed auctions' prices.
