Oh good. Yeah that gives me maybe 4 days...which is perfect :D Pity I'm out, but then I doubt I'd have been able to play them anyway.

Holy ****...it appears the contracts re-screwed themselves...and I now have Cousins for a further 1 year at $0 and Green now on the books for 1 year $9.28Mil after supposedly expiring from his 11.6 last season... :lol: Can 2k screw things up any more????

No wait...I was wrong...it stuffed the contracts so that it meant I hadn't resigned DJ, Yi or Maynor...and the other guys are still off contract....good times...

I'm soooo confused....I think my guys are still on my team? And Durant is again reading 1 yr $0...
 
Good in theory...but my 2k doesn't even seem to update NBA Today anymore...I even tried deleting every single file I have of 2k and nope, it won't update and therefore I have no rookies in my game...which is pretty much why I've all but stopped playing it excpt for our league. I'm up for giving it another go, and continuing this league, but damn 2k is pushing me...
 
So we're about 8 hours until the league advances to the wait for the draft...when we going to draft? Tomorrow night?
 
I'm on chat. Man I should have scouted...I didn't and now I have a 3rd pick overall?? I was banking on a mid teens pick...so I only scouted 1 guy that would normally have been drafted in the 20s...now it's stupid to take him at #3 lol
 
well that was an interesting first game lol, first off my rookies stink this year and the only one that showed promise in my first game was the 7'6 giant lol, had a buzzer shot to win and hit it with the reining ROY moore good midrange shot that dropped leaving 0.3 on the clock , it was a sour win but with durant going down late in the third with a severe high ankle sprain and could be out for up to 5 games which couldnt come at a worse time with a tough few games coming up

You can say that again.
For some reason no one (including LeChoke) can shoot. Made a run from 10 down in the last and could of won it.
Down by 2 with 10 sec remaining, wanted a three by Mayo. Set the play up at the TO, then the team clears out for Lebron.
Didn't even think of going for OT and of course I missed the 3.

Think it's going to be another long year - only 8 decent players.

easy to get Lebrons shot though
 
Bout to play my 1st game! Supposedly my team is rankd 1st in O, D and Overall lol So it'd be disappointing to have a poor season...

Haven't played with Barry yet, but the kid has 4.5 stars of trade value already and he's rated 58! Looking forward to getting some court time into him :D

1st game down. Started horribly. I hit only 3 FGs in the 1st quarter, but got it going in the 2nd to lead by 7 at the half (29-15 in the 2nd!). 2nd half was a relative stalemate as I took the game by 12.

Green top scored (I remembered his jumper) with 16/5/1/1. Cousins got on it in the 2nd half for 14/3/2/1/1. Lawson was POG, but I need to learn his jumper again. He had 13 points on 4/13 with 10 assists and 3 steals. Evans was solid, scoreless at the half, came out in the 3rd to drop 10 and finish with 12. Barry the rookie! Checked in and drew a foul straight away. Missed his 1st FT, but I realised he shoots it same as Monta, so dropped the 2nd. He finished with 11 points, 2 boards (including a crucial offensive board and huge dunk and1 in the 4th) and a steal. The giant will be wicked :D DJ off the bench had 5 and 7 assists and Sander had 5/4/2 off the bench and is awesome getting up the court on the break.

Jennings, Wes and Okafor didn't get a game...possible transaction in progress ;)

Worryingly...I was out rebounded by 12 and allowed 10 offensive boards to 4...

2nd game was a cruisy victory against the Pacers. Griffin was a beast, top scoring with 24, but it wasn't enough. Cousins POG with 23/7/1/1/1, Lawson his 2nd double double with 17/2/11/2. Barry off the bench for 14/1...he's too slow on D and too slow to get to position for boards, but on O he works nicely...as you could imagine a 7'6 player would on small opponents. Sanders is a beast! 13/8 off the bench in this game. Tyreke another solid 13/4/1.
 
yeah my 7'6 bloke is great on the dunks but has no clue about defence lol , the game with the suns was a cracker , had no durant and i waived mbah moute before the first game so started the game with the old sjax and sf , had byers(7'6 giant)starting at C , moore moved down to PF , SJAX at SF , thornton at SG and Weber at PG , i think the suns sent there scout out at my previous game cause stoudamire killed moore , but Weber is consistantly improving at the PG and took out player of the game with 14pts , 10 assists, ended up winning in a close battle , thrown an offer to granger so hopefully he comes in to void durants spot as he will be gone for a while
