I have seen some cards from the Flawless set with some serious QC issues, but now some from the Immaculate set are surfacing. This would be an awesome card had this been in better condition. Such a shame that the card has such bad corners. Other cards have been released with chipping on edges and smudged autos. Both sets are considered high end but does the quality measure up with the $ it costs?

I guess that's what happens when you have on card autos on thick card stock. I seem to remember exquisite cards suffering from the same problems on their cards that had those foil finishes on the edges.
The only way to combat it IMO would be to tell the player to be more careful when it comes to signing? Maybe Panini need to work on their organisation a bit and have the cards made much earlier than release so there isn't such a rush to get them signed and packed as a lot of them had smudged autos too which says to me they were smashing them out last hour.

They all should be inspected prior to packing, if they don't pass a certain level, they don't go out. Always sign excess stock as replacements "just incase".

Definitely seems the quality in cards have dropped.. I've had creased and dinged up panani's straight from packs on a few occasions and now esp with there very average condition league cards.. Makes me appreciate ud/select a lot more.
You'd have to expect nothing but mint cards from flawless and immaculate!

Agree'd, better organisation would do wonders. From what I was hearing just before Flawless dropped they still had guys signing a couple days before release. It's impossible to make sure everything is in top shape with those deadlines.

I reckon you're living in dream land if you think UD/Topps etc never had these problems. I'm not saying it's right but it's not a new thing having creased patch windows out of the box. I seem to remember nearly every GU card out of 09-10 SPGU being bent or creased around the windows.

Didn't collected them but I never had problems from the originals, Again if your buying flawless/immaculate priced cards you should not receive any less than mint?? I'm not bagging panani just stating a fact from my dreamy experiences

The OJ Mayo (bottom right) is a sick patch.

But because of its "sickness" it has a nasty split right down the side of the card.
