Hey guys just chatting to my old man who works for the company that makes Sunblest bread and he was saying that as of tomorrow they are including 1 footy card per loaf.

They were made in Asia so no idea on quality.

He didn't know set number but thought about 30-40 players.

Nice one. So they are definitely NRL? Here are what the AFL ones look like.

Dugan still the bread-winner

May 7, 2013

Good on ya mum, according to Tip Top bread Josh Dugan is still the Canberra Raiders’ number one.

Despite being sacked by the Raiders almost two months ago, Dugan will feature for the Green Machine in a series of NRL collector cards to be given away in loaves of bread over the next 12 weeks.

Dugan and Canberra prop David Shillington are the only two players representing the Raiders in the promotion, which includes two players from all 16 NRL clubs.

Michael Jennings, who defected from Penrith to the Sydney Roosters late in the pre-season, will also feature in the series of cards wearing a Panthers jersey.

While they report the bread is fresh, Tip Top have explained why their promotion is a little stale.
‘‘The cards were in production early in the off-season and due to player movements, the following player cards are incorrect,’’ Tip top said in a statement.

Tip Top is offering to provide fans with replacement cards free of charge, so you can trade your Dugan for a card of Jarrod Croker.

Dugan was sacked by the Raiders after just one match this NRL season after flouting the club’s drinking policy while injured, infamously posting a photo of himself on social media drinking on a rooftop and sticking up his middle finger.

The St George Illawarra Dragons have reportedly offered Dugan a contract for this season, but it is subject to NRL approval before a contract can be registered
